In her junior high school year, Raisa started acting. Modeled for ads in the print media as well as appeared in commercials. The sitcoms she appeared in included her as a guest star. Raisa from August 2012 2018, until 2022 Raisa appeared on the Freeform show, Grown-ish, directed by the creator of Black-ish Kenya Barris. She was a part of the first four seasons of the show before leaving following her character's death at the end the fourth season. The other shows she has appeared on include Freeform's Life-Size 2 television movie, featuring Tyra banks. She was also a part of the spin-off How I Met Your Mother series How I Met Your Father was made public by Hulu on the 18th of January 2022.
